9-year-old Ezra Blount has now become the youngest victim to succumb to his injuries from the tragic Astroworld festival in Texas.
Little Ezra was trampled to death at Travis Scott’s music festival which was recently held in Houston, explained reports. The young music fan died on Sunday, after entering into a state of coma.
Ever since the tragedy, the boy had been placed on life support, leaving his entire family grieving for days.
Ezra had reportedly been sitting on his dad’s shoulders when Scott opened his music set to perform at the mega NRG Park which was located in Houston on the 5th of November.
Both sides were reportedly caught up in the mega chaos that had unfolded when a surge of fans rushed towards the stage to get a closer glimpse of Travis while performing.
Ezra’s dad revealed in the most tragic manner how his son was a huge fan of Travis Scott, adding how the rapper was undoubtedly his favorite artist.
“He was just so stoked to go and visit the Astroworld Festival. He was a big fan and couldn’t wait for the performance. Ezra was so excited about it all and just ready to go,” his father revealed during a heartbreaking interview with ABC13 last week.
The father-son duo made sure they stayed towards the rear end of the crowd so as to avoid any rowdiness that was expected to take place near the front aspect of the stage.
Moreover, the father spoke about how everything appeared to be going cool for a split second, and that’s right before the giant crowd of people surged forward.
Soon, a massive stampede resulted in so many bodies being stacked upon one another.
It all ended up suffocating little Ezra and his dad in no time, causing his father to lose consciousness and the boy to fall to the ground.Recommended Video For You!
