Meghan Markle’s estranged father Thomas Markle is delivering bold and threatening remarks to the press regarding his grandchildren.
According to local media reports, the 77-year-old said that he would much rather prefer to take his daughter to court at a date that’s not too far away in the future, just so he can gain access towards her children. But that was not the only thing on his mind. Thomas also had plenty to say regarding son-in-law Prince Harry and some of the decisions he is making such as his recent memoir release.
The former lighting director has still not met Prince Harry’s and Meghan Markle’s children which include Archie and Lillibet Mountbatten-Windsor.
Recently, the 77-year-old made a surprise appearance on Fox News where he spoke about how he was more than ready and willing to take the Royals to the court.
For those who may not be aware, Meghan’s father has had a very strained relationship with his own daughter, ever since the royal wedding event took place. But that was before he made heads turn when he reportedly struck a massive deal with a photographer from the press who would stage photographs of him.
On that note, he went about pulling out from the wedding at the last minute, leaving Meghan all alone as he refused to walk her down the aisle at the wedding ceremony because he suffered a heart attack. For this reason, Prince Charles was forced to step in and take his place on the big day of the royal wedding.
When Meghan Markle appeared for her explosive interview on Oprah, she explained how her father had betrayed her. She also spoke in detail about how hard it was for her to reconcile with her father. Moreover, the relationship has gone from bad to worst as her dad continually chose to speak ill about her to the press.
Now, her father claims that he fears that since his health is deteriorating, he might never be able to meet his grandchildren. Speaking from his residence in Mexico, he added how the children shouldn’t be punished due to their parent’s bad behavior.
