24-year-old rookie armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed was seen outside her Arizona home for the first time after the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
A few days ago, Halyna Hutchins died during a mock gunfight when the team shot a scene in a church. Actor Alec Baldwin was given a loaded gun and was told it was cold, but it was loaded earlier by Hannah Gutierrez Reed. The loaded weapon was a Colt pistol used in a gunfight scene set inside a church at the Bonanza Ranch.
Recently people saw Hannah outside her house, looking extremely worried and pacing back and forth while talking on her phone.
After a few moments, she went back inside her house and refused to answer the door, apparently not willing to talk to anyone or answer any questions. The deceased lady had posted a picture on Instagram before she died, in which Hannah is also present.
According to the police, the loaded weapon that caused the death of Halyna also injured 48-year-old director Joel Souza.
A source has revealed that celebrities including Jensen Ackles, Swen Temmers, and Travis Hammer were also present on the set at that time. The Colt pistol was one of the several weapons that were present on the set at that moment.
Gutierrez Reed is a student of Northern Arizona University, where she studied creative media and film between 2017 and 2020. She is the daughter of 78-year-old Hollywood armorer Thell Reed. The 24-year-old lady has worked on Nicholas Cage’s movie The Old Way in the past as well.
Many team members have left the movie after this incident. Direct complaints were made against Hannah to the assistant director Dave Hall by the fed-up crew members.
