A woman has reportedly been shot dead after her own Halloween prank to scare neighbors went horrifically wrong.
The victim who is yet to be identified received a line of bullets to her chest after neighbors saw her roaming around dressed as a ghost. It has been revealed how the young woman’s intentions revolved around spooking her neighbors while dressed in eerie attire.
Officials claim that the victim’s age fell in the 20 to 25 year age bracket and she was caught roaming around the neighborhood in Mexico’s Naucalpan de Juarez area while donning a white-toned gown with a veil.
Her motive was to scare away the residents of her neighborhood located in the San Miguel Doram district on the 15th of October. Without a doubt, many called the woman out for her very real and scary attempt, while others assumed she was a real and haunting figure.
Those who managed to get a look claim the woman attempted to impersonate the famous historic and spooky ‘Weeping Woman’ character who is renowned as ‘La Llorona’ that hails from Latin America. That character has been famed for years as the female ghost that walks the streets while mourning her dead kids.
Ancient folklore tradition has gone on to reveal how the shockingly haunting figure walks around the earth in absolute despair, right after drowning her own kids in a river in outrage, after witnessing her husband’s affair with another woman.
The woman could be seen by scared witnesses as howling on the streets using the phrase, ‘Oh my Children’ in Mexican language.
One active resident even managed to grab a hold of the woman’s actions on film, just a few moments before she was shot dead with a number of bullets aimed at her by another scared resident.
Reports have gone on to reveal how the horrified and scared shooter opened fire on the young woman and then immediately fled the scene in fear.
At the moment, state authorities are currently investigating this bizarre and shocking case.
