More shocking details from Kyle Rittenhouse’s first interview with Fox News are surfacing, including how the teen wished to render first aid to the man he shot with his own hands.
Kyle Rittenhouse revealed to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson how he was chased away by a mob, and that’s the reason he couldn’t give one of the men he shot first aid, even when he wanted to.
During his recent first-ever public appearance on television since being acquitted for all his charges in the high profile homicide trial, Rittenhouse revealed on Monday how he wished he could give Joseph Rosenbaum, who was the first person he shot dead in the attack, first aid.
“After I shot him, he tried his best to grab my gun. I started to run away quickly. There was a gunshot that had just taken place behind me,” Rittenhouse revealed.
“After I shot him, I ran around the car because I wanted to render first aid to him,” the 18-year-old explained.
“But I just was not able to as there was a giant mob forming behind me. They were calling for my execution and how they wanted to get a hold of me and kill me,” he went on to explain.
“And that is the exact moment that I made my way towards the police line and tried my best to get to the police as fast as I could, and again I am attacked,” he added.
The verdict that came last Friday is certainly one that not too many people were expecting, especially considering the fact that the teen was cleared of all his charges, despite shooting dead two people and wounding another.
