In Russia, the teenage girl made headlines after claiming a ten-year-old boy made her pregnant now says she’s being “forced” to terminate her second pregnancy.
Darya Sudnishnikova, aged 13 when she had her first baby, recently announced that she was expecting again, this time by her now “ex-boyfriend,” 17.
Darya, now 15, even held a poll among her 650,000 followers on whether she should terminate her second pregnancy before declaring she would keep the baby.
But now, the young mom revealed in an upsetting video that she was later ordered by doctors to undergo an abortion due to serious health concerns.
“I did not know how to tell you, but tomorrow I will have an abortion,” Darya said in the video. “All day I’m shaking.”
“It’s not because I want this, but I have big health issues and I will not stand giving birth,” she said.
According to Darya, the doctors told her that “if I leave this child, then I will die, or this child.”
“It is just terrible,” she continued. “I felt so unwell for the last two days, terribly sick.”
“There was a threat of miscarriage and I was told that I could die,” Darya said. “How hard it is for me to know that I will lose the child.”
Darya went on and showed clips from the hospital in her hometown Zheleznogorsk, a nuclear industry outpost in Siberia.
The 15-year-old strongly denied her critics’ comments that she only had “hyped” about her abortion to gain attention and boost her social media platforms.
“I rented a city hospital to film for hype?” Darya said sarcastically. “People, stop seeing hype in everything If a person shares with you, it doesn’t mean it is only hype.”
Darya and the second baby’s father are yet to be questioned by the Investigative Committee of Russia, which probes serious crime over underage pregnancies.
She also revealed she broke up with her boyfriend after he revealed he had another girlfriend despite promising to raise the newborn with her.
The forced abortion is the latest twist for Darya after she rose to fame when she claimed on national TV that her 10-year-old boyfriend fathered her first child.
The young pair stuck to their story in media interviews despite medical experts saying it was just medically impossible.
Later on, Darya told the police that the truth is she became pregnant after she was raped by a boy, 15, on a stairwell, but she had been too ashamed to admit it.
