A young and beautiful 10-year-old girl from Brazil has tragically passed away after her hair got trapped into the family pool’s drainage system.
According to local media reports, the girl was reportedly killed in what is being described as a horrifying freak accident where her long and curly hair became trapped inside the swimming pool.
Authorities have gone on to explain how little Laise Pegorini Franzen suffered a major cardiac arrest on Tuesday when her body became trapped underwater. The poor girl made desperate attempts to free herself but they were all in vain as she remained in a helpless state underwater for a long time.
The horrifyingly tragic incident took place at her own home which is located in Brazil’s Sao Cristovao neighborhood in Santa Catarina, as stated by Newsflash.
After finding out about the incident, the victim’s family members rushed her to a nearby Hospital in Sao Cristovao and that’s where she was reportedly declared dead on arrival, a local media outlet reported.
The news spread like wildfire in the town, with many grieving family members, friends, and the neighborhood offering their prayers and condolences for her and her loved ones during this very difficult time.
“We simply cannot find the right words at this time to express our pain over losing such a beloved young one. She was our little Laise,” stated a message from the victim’s school in the town of Xanxere on Facebook.
“We will miss her each and every day at our school. Her smile, her way of being loved and enchanted by everyone. You will always remain in our hearts,” the message went on to state.
The young girl lived with her parents and her two brothers. She was reportedly laid to rest on Wednesday.
