The public of The United Kingdom is suffering from food and supplies shortages before Christmas and this alarming situation has enraged the members of parliament as the Prime Minister of The United States is not doing anything about it.
Many people are seen forming a row in the supermarkets willing to buy a large amount of food, toilet rolls, and petrol before Christmas to stock it in their homes. Unfortunately, one out of six individuals can get the desired amount of supplies because of the shortage of products in the local supermarkets of The United Kingdom.
The shelves of these supermarkets are mostly empty as the manufacturing companies haven’t provided enough stock to fulfill all the requirements of the people. Morrisons, Tesco, and a few other big supermarkets in the UK have lost almost two billion dollars because of this lack of supply from the factories.
The prime minister of The United Kingdom hasn’t shown much concern about this issue as, according to him, the government is not responsible for solving minor problems like these.
The supply chain crisis tsar ‘Dave Lewis’ is recently appointed by Boris Johnson.
Now he is trying to resolve this supply shortage issue and doing his best not to increase inflation in the country. The Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi and Labour’s Shaw Transport Secretary Jim McMahon are infuriated at the behavior of the Prime Minister. According to these two people, serious measures should be taken now to help the people with this crisis, otherwise, this Christmas, people will suffer a lot.
