A father has been arrested after murdering her daughter’s boyfriend and stuffing his body inside a trunk.
60-year-old John Eisenman is facing life in prison after being charged with the first-degree murder of his daughter’s 19-year-old boyfriend, Andrew Sorenson.
The case takes place in Washington where Eisenman is being held on a $1 million bond after stabbing Sorenson to death and leaving his body stuffed in the trunk of an abandoned car.
According to the reports, the teenager was likely killed sometime in November last year after Eisenman discovered that his juvenile daughter was sold to human traffickers for $1,000 by her boyfriend.
After the father successfully rescued his daughter, who was at the time already moved to Seattle, he tracked down Sorenson and ambushed him outside his home.
“During that encounter Eisenman abducted the victim, tying him up and placing him in the trunk of a vehicle. Eisenman subsequently assaulted the victim by hitting him in the head with a cinder block and then stabbed him repeatedly, causing his death,” the authorities revealed.
“After the homicide, Eisenman drove the vehicle to a remote area in North Spokane County and abandoned the car with the body still inside.”
For months, the car remained in North Spokane County until it was taken to East Everett Avenue by another person.
It wasn’t until the vehicle was properly searched that Sorenson’s body was discovered.
“They were just looking around and for some reason, they decided to look in the trunk and all I hear is, ‘there’s a body,’” Amber Hellmann, one of the witnesses who took notice of the suspicious vehicle, said in an interview with KHQ-TV.
Following the grisly discovery, Eisenman was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. The father reportedly had no criminal history prior to the murder of his daughter’s boyfriend.
