A mother is revealing her utter heartbreak and devastation after her daughter was battered to death by a 26-year-old man.
According to local media reports, 29-year-old Kirsty Louise Ashley was reportedly found dead on Boxing Day in East London’s Newham.
Since then, a man named Yahya Aboukar has been charged with battering and murdering her.
The grieving family recently revealed how they are shocked and numb with grief as their daughter fell in the wrong crowd as she refused to speak to her own relatives for a very long time.
Kirsty’s battered body was found from Scunthorpe in a residence at Newham’s Earlham Grove at about 11:55 in the morning, just one day after Christmas.
Shortly after that, police launched an investigation into the 29-year old’s mysterious murder where 26-year-old Yahya was termed to be the murder suspect responsible for the tragic crime. Since then, he has reportedly been in police custody.
The accused recently made an appearance at the Thames Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to appear on Friday.
Now, the victim’s family is speaking out and expressing how they are beyond broken over the news of Kirsty’s death as this was not something they saw coming.
Kirsty’s sister says she was very close to her sister during their childhood and the duo used to always play together.
“Kirsty gave me a nephew, niece, and I will always cherish the wonderful times and laugh she gave me when we were both younger,” her heartbroken sister revealed.
Meanwhile, the victim’s mother says that her daughter fell in the wrong crowd of people as she didn’t feel the need to communicate with her relatives for years due to a sudden family breakdown.
“She came from a large family of siblings and had two children of her own, which were later adopted,” her grieving mother revealed.
At the moment, the police are still investigating the circumstances of her sudden death.
