Seven people including three young children have reportedly been found dead at a home in Minnesota.
According to local media outlets, the tragedy was reported during the later hours of Saturday, sparking concern amongst citizens.
Authorities responded to a tragic call from 911, just before 8 am on Saturday. And that’s when it was announced by the family members regarding the discovery of bodies at the house on 13th Street, as revealed by KVRR.
While officials are yet to provide any cause of death, all the victims that were involved in the tragedy have now been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Officer for further evaluation.
Officials have also gone on to claim that there were no signs of violence or indications of forced entry inside the home. Also, they assured the general public that there was no threat at the moment.
At the moment, the identities of those involved in the case are yet to be released.
As the investigation into the devastating and bizarre case continue, efforts are being carried out by the Moorhead Area School District to assist students dealing with the grief surrounding the loss of those they once knew, including the children who reportedly attended both S.G Reinertsten Elementary and Moorhead High School.
“This is a very difficult time for our school family and we would like to express our sincere and deepest condolences with the extended family members of those involved,” explained officials via a public statement released.
“As a whole district, our ultimate goal is to provide support to all those students, families, and staff members during this difficult time period.”
The city of Moorhead comprises nearly 45,000 individuals in Clay County alone. It is located in western Minnesota and is present directly across the Red River from Fargo in North Dakota.
