A 15-year-old boy from Texas has reportedly been booked for Capital murder after he shot his mother dead at the family’s residence.
Officers from the Dallas Police Department were quick to respond to the emergency call that came on Friday afternoon, at about 4:30 pm to be exact. And that’s when it was revealed how the teen confessed to killing his own mom.
Cops spoke about how they received a call regarding the complaint of an abandoned child, but little did they know of the tragedy that awaited them in the home.
47-year-old Aime Salinas-Alvarado was reportedly found dead after receiving bullets to her head, which her own young son fired.
Police claim that the teen son confessed to the horrifyingly tragic crime and was soon taken into custody, shortly after that.
While the identity of the boy is yet to be named, it was reported how the mother used to care for her two-year-old granddaughter in the same home where she was shot dead.
Dallas police revealed how they were initially summoned to the residence that was located in the southwestern part of the city while investigating the complaint of an abandoned child.
Upon arrival, they located a two-year-old child who was dropped off at her great-grandparent’s residence by an unidentified individual. This child was actually supposed to be with her grandmother who was the victim.
Therefore, the great grand-parents were concerned about the child’s well-being and called authorities to carry out a check at the child’s grandmother’s home and that’s when they discovered how Salina was lying dead on the floor with a gunshot injury to her head.
It has been assumed that the teen first shot his mother dead and then dropped off the toddler at its great-grandparent’s home, right after carrying out the brutal crime.
