A stepmother who has been accused of murdering her 6-year-old stepson has now gone on to admit to cruelly beating the young child.
Emma Tustin who was accused of killing Arthur Labinjo-Hughes suddenly shocked the courtroom when she changed her plea to the count of child cruelty.
Both Emma and the boy’s father are alleged of carrying out the most horrifying crimes against the child after he passed away from a brain injury that doctors termed ‘unsurvivable’.
32-Year-old Emma is alleged of carrying out tragic abuse against the child while he was under her care and protection, the courtroom heard.
She even took pictures of him on her cellphone when the child was in a dying state in the hallway of her residence, which is located in the West Midlands.
Previously, the monster stepmother pleaded guilty on the trial’s first day where she revealed how she forced the child to stand, isolate him in the family home, and also intimidated him on a physical and verbal level.
Meanwhile, the father is also accused of aiding his partner in the murder, where he was sent a haunting text message by Emma that stated how the child would be gone, by the time he came home.
On the other hand, the prosecutors for the case have gone on to allege how the accused went about conducting a campaign of sheer cruelty against an innocent child which included abuse and torture of the worst kind.point 290 |

The child starved and remained in a dehydrated state as he was all alone with no one to call out for help in the same home where his dad and stepmom lived, the jurors heard.
Today, the jury listened to the last of the case’s evidence as the tragedy-filled trial continues.
