What age do you think is the right time to stop giving your children breastmilk?
Well, according to one mother, there’s really no age limit and women need to learn to accept that there’s nothing more empowering than breastfeeding.
Yes, this is the story of a woman that has left many people stunned and the entire internet divided when she chose to unveil how she still breastfeeds her kids aged 5 and 6.
“What’s wrong? I just don’t understand people, especially the moms out there that continue to ridicule me on a constant basis. Ladies, there’s nothing better and healthier than providing your own kids your breastmilk!”- she explained while lashing out at all of her haters and critics.
The woman was identified as 39-year-old Sheryl Wynne who hails from West Yorkshire. And so far, the breastfeeding routine is working well in her favor.
When asked if her children go to school, she replied yes and also spoke in detail about how she tries to fit in her breastfeeding schedule that doesn’t affect them or her.
“They get my milk before school, during the evening hours, and also at night!”- she continued to elaborate in detail.
She adds that her children deserve the right to inform her when they feel the time has come for them to make the switch from breastmilk to other forms of milk like a bottle or fresh sources. But until and unless that happens, she sees nothing wrong with her feeding strategy.
“It just does not feel right to end something like this so abruptly and necessarily. I don’t feel right doing it and hence, won’t do it. It’s that simple!”- the mom argued while trying to defy all of her critics and trolls along the way.
Many felt that this case was a simple matter of neglect and abuse and needed to be tackled righteously before it was too late.
