A beautiful family from Detroit was destroyed in a matter of seconds due to the actions of two teenage suspects.
According to local media reports, the boys were arrested on Monday in relation to the cold-blooded deaths of three members of the same family in Detroit
Police sources stated how the victims included a 5-year-old child too who was reportedly shot in the most devastating ‘execution style’.
On Sunday, one relative happened to stop by the family’s house and that’s when he discovered the dead bodies, sending him into an immediate state of shock and grief.
The loved one stated how he became so worried when he did not hear from the family for a few weeks, as reported by the police.
Meanwhile, the 5-year-old victim named Caleb Harris was shot twice in the face, which ultimately resulted in his tragic death, explained his grandmother in a horrifying tone.
“Only a monster could do something like this”- she cried during an interview with Click on Detroit recently.
Fox 2 reported how the child’s mom named Lashon Marshall and her lover boyfriend, Aaron Benson, were also killed after being fatally struck with so many bullets.
The Detroit Police Chief named James White revealed via a press conference on Tuesday how investigators got a series of tips and clues regarding the suspects’ whereabouts and that is what ultimately led to the arrests in the end. These clues were given out by members of the community who assisted cops in the investigation.
Police claim that the suspects were 16 and 17 years old, adding how they were confident about having all of those responsible in custody.
At the moment, investigations into the tragedy continue as police are yet to reveal the motives of the killers but they did admit how the suspects did know the victims.
