A 40-year-old father made a sickening post and put it up on social media right before he opted to take his own children’s lives.

According to local media outlets, the father named Indika Gunathilaka reportedly murdered his two young children while they were in their beds, right before he opted to take his own life.

The horrifying crime reportedly took place in the south of Perth yesterday, leaving loved ones and the entire community struck with grief.

Police rushed to the scene of the crime after being made aware of the incident in Huntingdale during the evening hours of Friday.

The young victims included six-year-old Kohan and his four-year-old sister Lily who was found by the cops dead inside their beds.

Authorities soon found the dad lying dead in the house’s garage which was present towards the backside of the property.

Now, the deaths are being ruled as a double murder-suicide by investigators.

The father reportedly shared several inspiring and motivating quotes about young children online and how they should be protected at all costs. This was being called out as hypocritical as he did the exact opposite by turning on his kids and killing them.

Sources claim that the dad even went on to create one 18-minute long video that discussed his mental health condition and how he happened to be suffering from depression.

But this was just two days before he opted to take their lives. Meanwhile, right before the horrifying crime, the father posted one family picture of himself with his children, smiling away. But soon afterward, he was found dead with them inside his own home.

Now, many are looking back at his evil posts where he urged others to protect their kids and never be cruel to them, just months before he did the exact opposite.
