It was a mother’s nightmare come true when she found out her son had ended his life after she called him several times down for dinner time.
According to local media reports, a mother was absolutely devastated when she realized that her teen son had taken his own life when she called his name.
Gemma Wall who hails from Lancashire spoke about how she was busy prepping for dinner time when she made calls for her 15-year-old son named Dixon to come down and eat his meal. But little did she know, that he was gone forever.
“I called out his name several times but he just never came down,” the heartbroken mom revealed.
Young Dixon was found hanging in his own bedroom by his brothers who couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
In an absolutely gut-wrenching post revealed via Facebook, the mother who works as a teaching assistant spoke about how her son’s loss moved her in a manner that she certainly was not ready for.
“I am beyond heartbroken by his loss,” she added.
“Everything has changed for me after his death. We try to go on as a family but it’s with deep sadness that we move forward. It’s a heaviness that will never go away,” the grieving mother added.
“We still do laugh at times, but we’re still crying too. My house has become so much quieter because someone that was so important to me is no longer here,” the mother revealed.
The mother says that the pain of losing a loved one is horrific and she had the misfortune of experiencing just that.
Young Dixon was seen playing with the family dog named Archie, on the same day that he passed away. “They were both throwing cushions at each other. Everything was so normal,” the mother explained.
But little did she know about the tragedy that await her.
