One woman claims to have married her stepbrother, after divorcing her husband. And now that she’s got four beautiful children with him, she can’t help but share the amount of negativity and criticism she continues to experience on a daily basis.
From people referring to it as disgusting to others slamming her intentions, the list of bizarre comments is beyond baffling. But now, she’s sharing her personal story in front of the world, so others can be a little less judgemental.
Lynley and Daniel Parret claim to be like any other married couple. But, there is one major difference and that includes the fact that they’re step-siblings.
Ever since the age of 16, this young woman admits to crushing on her lover and she also knew that someday, she’d be married to him.
“When we were growing up in New Zealand, we were just teens having fun but we also knew deep down inside that our feelings for one another were beyond platonic. My dad and his mom married one another when I was 12 and that’s when I first met him,” the mother adds.
After their parents tied the knot, Daniel loved to tease her like an older sibling but she enjoyed it to the core as it was fun.
With an age gap of just two years, the duo loved spending time with one another but she just never had the courage to convey her feelings towards him.
Years went by and the crush never faded away. But the mother says that her heart broke when he married someone else and hence, they both went their separate ways as she got married to someone else too.
But years later, after divorcing her own husband, Daniel also split up from his marriage and that meant one thing. Destiny was going to bring them together and that’s exactly what happened.
With four children, the couple is going strong, despite all the negativity that may come their way.
