A man from Wisconsin has been convicted of taking away his parents’ lives, right before he opted to dismember their deceased bodies.

The convicted killer was recently identified as Chandler Halderson and was found guilty of carrying out the most horrifying and evil act against his own loved ones.

The Dane County jury found the accused guilty of all counts regarding the murder of his parents that took place last year in July at their residence in Windsor.

The jury could be seen busy in a two-hour-long session where they underwent deliberations regarding the case. In the end, the verdict was ruled against the accused for killing his 50-year-old father named Bart and his 53-year-old mother named Krista.

The convicted man appeared in the courtroom and appeared to show no shame, guilt, or any emotion while his verdict was read out loud.

Local media reports claim he was found guilty of two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, followed by harrowing charges relating to mutilating a corpse, hiding it, and then providing authorities with false and misleading information to save himself. This information was stated in a recent report by the Wisconsin State Journal.

Moreover, his first-degree intentional homicide conviction means he will receive mandatory sentencing comprising of imprisonment for life.

The District County Attorney for Dane stated the following to reporters who were positioned outside the courtroom: “We know that we cannot bring the loving mom and dad back but this is definitely a positive step and the first one to bring some finality,” he explained.

Throughout the trial, the prosecutors’ side argued about how the accused went about killing his own parents after they figured out his web of lies regarding his enrollment in college, his work, and his revelation about being taken aboard the police scuba diving team.
