A heartbreaking tragedy has come to light where an evil daughter murdered her own mother at their family home.
According to local media reports, the evil daughter killed her mother and then wrapped up her remains inside a pair of old curtains. And just in case that was not haunting and disturbing enough, the killer opted to put the deceased body inside a cupboard for two whole months.
The accused has recently been identified as 36-year-old Cassandra Scott who stabbed her mother named Beverley Scott at least 10 times.
Moreover, the incident is being recalled by authorities as a drug-fuelled rage at the family’s residence, which is located in Manchester. Meanwhile, forensic evidence relating to the gruesome case also went on to show how the loving mother’s heart was pierced at least two times until she died.
The butchered body was quickly covered by the daughter using plastic sheets, bed covers, as well as old curtains. Whatever the accused killer could find, she used as sheets.
Worried about where to hide her body, the daughter opted for a secret cupboard that was located beneath her home’s stairs. And that’s where the dead mother’s body stayed for two whole months.
But after the time had elapsed, the horrifying discovery of the deceased mom’s remains was made by a housing officer, right after a number of concerns and complaints were stated regarding the mother’s sudden and mysterious disappearance.
While the daughter states that she was only trying to act in self-defense, the jurors of the case had other opinions as to what really went on that night.
And in just over an hour, the daughter was convicted of carrying out her own mother’s murder at the Crown Court in Manchester.
She was also believed to have been abusing drugs like crack cocaine.
