A mother was left fighting for her life in a coma after she jumped from a shopping center’s second floor.
The grieving mother performed the dangerous act because she wanted to be with her beloved daughter who had reportedly passed away.
For this reason, 45-year-old Cherie Rangeley tried to take her own life after she heard the details of how her ex killed her beloved daughter named Paige by intentionally starting off a housefire.
Cherie who hails from Hull had recently sat through one inquest relating to her daughter’s passing away and that’s when she had reportedly made the unfortunate decision to take her own life, as reported by Hull Live recently.
Her ex named Garry Bolton first locked himself and little Paige inside their home as it burned down to flames. Tragically, both of them passed away in the deadly fire during the early hours of January 25 in 2020. Paige was just 10 years old.
The grieving mother had been struggling with her alcohol problems for a while, ever since the terrifying tragedy took place, which just made matters so much more worst. She is believed to have hit an all-time low, right after the case’s inquest had been adjourned for August last year.
The mother mentioned how she tried to kill herself just so she could be reunited with her daughter who meant the world to her. “I jumped from the building’s second floor of St. Stephen’s and for that reason, I stayed in a coma for a short while,” she began to explain.
In the terrifying incident, the mother managed to fracture her knee and hip and for that reason, she still has to make use of a wheelchair.
“I just wanted to be with my daughter. I know it may sound weird but I felt like my daughter was calling me and I needed to go,” she added.
