The body of a missing woman has finally been found after heartbreaking reports spoke about the Tsunami in Tonga shattering the family apart in seconds.
The British national was reportedly trying to save her dogs when all of a sudden, a massive wave swept her away. Her husband managed to survive by the skin of his teeth as h was reportedly clinging on to a branch.
This marks the first person known to have passed away in the devastating tragedy that hit the South Pacific Island nation of Tonga on Saturday
The mega-disaster was reportedly sparked by a massive underwater volcanic eruption that took place, sending out massive waves as tall as 4ft.
The woman was identified as 50-year-old Angela Glover who was an advertising worker by profession and hailed from Brighton. She met her tattoo artist partner named James in London, right before the duo opted to get married and move to the island nation of Tonga.
She had been declared missing from the Tsunami that struck the country on Saturday as the nearby located Hunga-Tonga volcano erupted.
Angela was last seen on the beach by her husband James as the horrifying Tsunami arrived ashore. While the couple tried to cling to a tree, Angela just happened to, unfortunately, lose her grip as a massive wave struck her.
Angela’s brother announced the tragic news of his sister’s passing away recently, adding how the family is grieving the loss of a loved one that many adored to be around. Moreover, the fact that she died trying to save her pets is a clear indication of how much she adored animals and would do anything for them.
