A 41-year-old man from Texas has been charged for murdering his wife, just two days after she reportedly signed a $250,000 insurance plan.
According to local media reports, the woman named Yuan Hua Liang was found dead inside the couple’s Cypress residence on the 18th of November, revealed authorities.
Cops claim that her husband Collins went to extreme lengths when it came down to convincing investigators about how his wife passed away due to intruders entering their home which was located on Clayton Bluff in Houston,
Meanwhile, prosecutors of the case spoke about how the military veteran took his wife’s life, just two days after she signed the mega insurance life policy.
The 46-year-old woman’s body was retrieved by authorities who claimed she suffered from a single gunshot injury in her head, as revealed by medical examiners.
Cops claim that they believe the suspect fired the bullet from either a 0.22 or 0.25-caliber firearm.
The husband told authorities including deputies how his wife purchased a 0.9mm pistol but he stated that he did not have any ammunition in his possession.
But cops involved in the case’s investigation revealed how they managed to locate a 0.22mm cartridge in the suspect’s pocket.
The autopsy also found how a cloth bag was put over the victim’s head by the shooter, right after her death.
On the other hand, authorities claim that neighbors also reported how they heard the sound of a major argument from the home where the couple was believed to be living.
Authorities also found four dogs in an unharmed state from the couple’s home.
Another police report spoke about how the husband called in cops to carry out a welfare check at their home and that’s when they made the tragic discovery.
