A 5-year-old Cocker Springer Spaniel, Cadi, lost her life on bonfire night after getting spooked by fireworks.
The 58-year-old dog’s owner, Garry Hamilton, proclaimed that he let her dog out in the garden to relieve herself at night when suddenly fireworks started that spooked their pet, and she ran towards the road in a panic. Later, she got hit by a car, and someone shifted her to a vet’s office.
They were called from the vet’s office later that night and were informed about the death of their beloved pet. This awful news has devastated the family. The family members have asked other dog owners to keep an eye on their pets and never allow them to go on the road at night, especially in their state of panic.
Their dog was a fantastic and very affectionate pet, and they loved to go on walks with her.
Her 6th birthday was near, but they will never get a chance to celebrate it now. They will always miss their beloved dog as no one can replace her.
Many people enjoyed the fireworks that night, but it was one of the most terrible nights for the Hamilton family. For everyone assuming that the family members were walking the dog off the lead at that time of night, we want to know it is incorrect. The dog was in the garden to relieve herself when suddenly the firework noise caused her to run in panic. Resultantly, a car hit her as it was quite dark in that area at that time of night.
