A grieving and heartbroken mother is recalling the tragic moment that her beautiful daughter died in her arms after being struck by an LAPD bullet.
The mother of the beautiful 14-year-old child was reportedly killed when a stray bullet rammed into her body, causing her to fall down and pass away in her mother’s arms.
The incident took place at a department store in Los Angeles.
Now, the mother is breaking her silence as she wipes her tears and sheds light on what really went on a day that took away her daughter’s life.
The mother revealed how the deadly incident was every parent’s nightmare and definitely something she had never imagined to occur with her own child.
Discussing the painful incident during a recent press conference in front of the entire Los Angeles Police Headquarters Downtown, the mother broke down into tears and was at a complete loss for words as she tried to remember what really went on that day.
14-year-old Valentina passed away at the Burlington store and the incident was ruled as a homicide.
“Valentina and I hugged each other,” the mother revealed. “She just went and locked the door, praying for safety, praying for everybody. We began to hug one another so tightly,” the mom continued.
“After being hit, there was white powder coming out from her body and she began having convulsions. Her body was totally limp and I just remember screaming for help. No police officer came to assist me or my daughter,” the grieving mother cried.
The mother is now asking for justice in regards to her angel daughter’s death as she feels officers left her dying daughter alone.
“When they finally arrived, they just escorted me but left my little Valentina there,” she heartbrokenly confirmed.
A preliminary autopsy showed how the teen passed away from a gunshot injury that severed her chest at the store located in North Hollywood.
“It was as if my entire heart was ripped out,” she added.
