Terrifying reports have gone on to declare a father as the main suspect in his own daughter’s murder.
According to local media reports, 25-year-old Darin Harvey who hails from Greater Manchester was charged in connection to his 2-week-old baby girl’s murder that took place last year in January.
Little Felicity May Harvey was found dead by authorities and despite paramedics rushing to her assistance, she was unable to survive.
Doctors revealed how they were unable to save the child, despite her stay in the hospital for three days where she continued to battle for her life.
The suspect is believed to have killed his daughter at the family’s residence. He will reportedly make his first court appearance today.
At the moment, her exact cause of death and nature of injuries have not been outlined to the public and hence it remains unclear as to what really went on and how the brutal father’s actions resulted in her sudden and untimely death.
The police released an official statement in regards to the tragic case: “Darin Harvey who hails from Wardle in Birch Road is now in police custody. He is said to appear before the magistrate’s court today, later on.”
“The suspect has been accused of murder and hence will undergo a trial after his daughter passed away last year in a hospital after we were called in after an apparent welfare check”- they added.
After the young child’s death, her family appeared numb with grief as other members of the community sent out their condolences regarding the matter.
“She was our precious girl. Our hearts are broken beyond repair, we’ve lost our Felicity-May”- they cried.
“She was a gorgeous baby and always so alert, looking around with her big blue eyes”- the mother explained.
