Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a four-year-old girl who was found lying next to her unresponsive mother in a hotel room in Florida recently.
Right next to the child’s body, there was a heartbreaking note too that mentioned, “I’m sorry.”
According to local media outlets, police officers reportedly found young Masiela Decaro’s body lying next to her mother Jacinda who appeared to be unresponsive at the time of the tragedy.
Cops responded to a tragic call for help at the Star Island Resort which is located in Kissimmee, Florida on the 10th of January as reported by The Sun.
Authorities claim that the hotel received an alarming call from the child’s mother who requested a welfare check in relation to her daughter’s wellbeing as she just couldn’t get in touch with her. Moreover, the mystery grew when it was reported that the mother failed to show up to her work that day as well.
Therefore, when security officials entered the hotel room, they found no response at the door when they knocked. On that note, they opted to forcefully enter inside, discovering the door had been forcefully locked and latched too.
Both mother and daughter were found in an unresponsive state on their beds. And that’s when they were both rushed by paramedics to a nearby hospital to receive life-saving measures. But police revealed that the young child was already dead at the scene while the mother managed to survive after receiving life-saving assistance from medical experts.
After conducting a thorough inspection of the room, police officers found a tragic note on the bed near the child’s body that mentioned, “I’m sorry.”
The child’s father is currently speaking out on how beautiful and smart his daughter was and how she was just about to celebrate her fifth birthday.
As the mother continues to fight for her life in the hospital’s ICU, the father claims that he has no idea what went wrong and how his beautiful family was shattered in an instant.
