It was one family’s nightmare come true after they found their 18-year-old daughter unresponsive on the sofa, only to realize later that she was dead.
Jade Elizabeth Mitchell was a popular teenager who died at her mother’s residence in Wales after suffering a mental illness battle.
The teen reportedly took a cocktail drink and a series of drugs with that, stated local media outlets.
Her mother, Jane Mitchell discovered that her daughter was lying on the sofa during the early hours of the morning. As she tried to call out her name and wake her up, she got no response in return.
And that is when she knew that something was definitely up. Moreover, the panicked mother called up rescue services via an emergency call.
During the teen’s inquest hearing, the statement read out loud boldly spoke about how young Jade had been under the supervision as well as care of an entire mental health team.
It was also revealed how the teen tried to take her own life on several occasions and she had even been diagnosed with conditions like social anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and PTSD too. In the same way, she suffered from so many people bullying her both online as well as in person.
For that reason, she had been residing with her mother and her friend during the lockdown.
Meanwhile, during the early morning hours of 6 am, she had taken a drink filled with illicit drugs and that is what killed her in the end.
After the devastating news broke out to loved ones and friends regarding her death, so many tributes began to flood in.
Many remember her as a beautiful young woman who was so loving and caring towards others. Her friends also took to her social media page to share memories.
