Terrifying reports are speaking in detail about a 61-year-old father setting his 31-year-old daughter on fire.
Local media outlets say 31-year-old Stacey Brooks turned to her estranged dad after suffering from a breakup. But little did she know that he would be out to get her in the end.
Brooks was a mother of four kids and was left in a homeless state after her partner turned her back on her and dumped her. Desperate for some help, she reportedly turned to her dad but that was not the wisest decision as can be seen.
Mark Brooks, the dad, reportedly got extremely jealous of his daughter’s affair with her partner and decided enough was enough. His bizarre rage of possessiveness and jealousy ended up in a horrifying attack and it was just too savage.
He doused her in petrol and had plans to take her life by lighting her on fire, sources have confirmed. But she was saved at the last second.
It’s shocking how the duo had just recently reconnected after being separate for more than 20 years. This was not the sort of welcome she was hoping for. Assuming all the tensions between them were over, the daughter started to trust her dad again.
But her dad cornered her and threw petrol over her body. He continued to mention how this was the sort of punishment she deserved and it really took her by surprise.
Thankfully, the lighter he was supposed to use to begin the blaze didn’t work and it all worked out well in her favor in the end.
The father fled from the scene but was eventually caught by the cops. He has recently pleaded guilty to causing her grievous bodily harm and even making shocking threats to kill her in court.
