A heartbroken mother is numb with grief after her 5-year-old son tragically passed away in the bath while she was busy wrapping gifts.
According to local media reports, young Jayden-Jay Silvester and his family had recently encountered a major tragedy after his father had died a few days back.
But for one mother, life turned upside down as she was forced to deal with another family member’s sudden death as her son drowned and died in the bathtub at the family home in Stoke.
The young child was reportedly found unresponsive in the bathroom by his grandma. Moreover, despite his mother’s countless efforts and paramedics trying to revive him, he was soon pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigations into the harrowing case revealed how he suffered from a major seizure in the bathroom and drowned inside the water after having no one to supervise him. His mother was in the room next door, trying to wrap gifts, as reportedly informed to the inquest.
The tragedy comes exactly 34 days after his father passed away as revealed by reports from Stoke on Trent Live.
“He wanted to have a bath so I filled the tub half full and put him inside myself. I made sure he was okay and went into the room next door to wrap presents. I don’t know how and when the tragic event happened,” the mom grieved.
On the other hand, the mother named Lisa explained how she had taken the young child and his brother named Oscar shopping for goodies like balloons as it was Oscar’s birthday tomorrow.
The mother had even planned a fun trip for her little ones tomorrow at the park. But little did she know that the children would never be able to witness it together due to the sudden death of young Jayden.
Today, Jayden is being remembered as a caring and loving son and brother whose presence will be dearly missed.
