A manhunt is currently underway for one Alabama suspect who has reportedly been accused of murdering his sister-in-law for some easy cash.
According to local media reports, the accused has been identified as 53-year-old Darin Starr who is wanted for his alleged role in taking his former sister-in-law’s life after being hired by his own brother.
The victim was killed in 2017 as revealed by local authorities and she was identified as 38-year-old Sara Starr.
This horrifying incident took place at her home’s driveway which was located in Enterprise, Alabama on November 27.
But the shocking part is how the suspect was hired by his own brother who promised him money and a motorcycle to kill his wife.
Meanwhile, other haunting reports revealed how the suspect’s brother was remanded by the police in December 2021 and taken into custody on a charge relating to murder-for-hire. This was just after a period of four years without an arrest being made in the case.
The suspect’s brother was accused of giving his brother a Triumph motorcycle as well as a giant envelope filled with a staggering amount of cash. At the moment, cops have failed to disclose the exact sum of money present inside in exchange for Sara’s life.
The pending trial date for Jason Starr has now been shifted to June 27 of this year as he was released due to his suffering from an ankle injury.
At the moment, the FBI is now awarding a handsome reward worth $10,000 for proving any relevant information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts as well as the arrest for his brother.
In the same way, cops and state officials are yet to release any details about what the possible motive could be for the victim’s murder.
