Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, 49, revealed his side on the latest celebrity topic on bathing.
Unlike other celebrities, the Jumaji actor wants the world to know he’s not a stinky celebrity.
When a fan tweeted that Johnson “can’t possibly be one of those stinky” actors, he quickly confirmed that she was correct and even went to share further details of his showering habits.
“Nope, I’m the opposite of a ‘not washing themselves’ celeb,” Johnsson tweeted on Friday. “Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’. Shower (warm) after my workout before work. Shower (hot) after I get home from work.”
“Face wash, body wash, exfoliate and I sing (off key) in the shower,” the actor responded, along with a soap emoji.
Recently, bathing became a hot topic among celebrities. With some claims that showering daily is not that necessary.
Brokeback Mountain actor Jake Gyllenhaal, 40, recently told Vanity Fair that: “more and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times.”
The actor explained that he believes “good manners and bad breath get you nowhere” and also told the magazine that “there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.”
Meanwhile, Dax Shepard, 46, and Kirsten Bell, 41, also shared the same sentiments. Saying that they don’t bathe their two daughters — Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 6 — until the kids start to “stink.”
“Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up,” Bell told “The View”.
Lastly, Ashton Kutcher and Ashton Kutcher admitted in July last month that they only bathe their children, Wyatt, 6, and Dimitri, 4, when they could “see the dirt on them.”
