On Sunday afternoon, two young boys were declared dead in a car crash during a drag race in Texas, and several injured people were taken to the hospital.
This sorrowful incident occurred at the end of a drag race when one of the drivers lost control over his vehicle, and smashed the car into the spectators.
A 6-year-old young boy died on the spot, and an injured 8-year-old young boy was declared dead after being taken to the hospital. Eight people were injured during the accident in which two women are still in critical condition. A 36-year-old man is hospitalized, but his identity is not revealed yet.
A small baby of 4 months was taken to the hospital, but her condition is not critical.
According to a source, the driver of the car is stable and fine. The police do not disclose his identity, but after initial investigation, the police have elaborated that the driver lost control of his car before striking the spectator stand and parked cars resulting in this terrible accident.
The drag race event was arranged by Flyin’ Diesel Performance, a local auto shop neighboring the airport, and it was precisely put together for the amateur drivers. People on social media sites are praying for the dead and injured after the pictures from this awful incident were uploaded.
Brittany Lehman, a witness of the incident, went to the event with her husband and fortunately didn’t get injured after the incident. According to her, the car fishtailed into the onlookers after it crossed the finished line, and then there was just smoke and shouting. People were running haphazardly, and chaos was in the air.
