Double child killer Colin Pitchfork has reportedly been arrested again with offers recalling him to prison.
After spending near 33 years in jail, it now appears that he’s still not learned his lesson because he was caught approaching young girls again. Authorities claim that the double child murderer convict used to go out on walks and that’s when he was caught in the act, with young women by his side.
Pitchfork was jailed in the year 1988 for crimes relating to both the crimes of murder as well as physical assault of girls who were as young as 15.
Two months back, many people were beyond startled when they found out that he was freed from Leyhill prison, located near Tortworth, Gloucs, after serving his 33-year long jail sentence.
Images of him were also publicly released where he could be seen prowling across the streets nearby schools. At that time, it was evident that he was enjoying his life as a free man.
A number of probation officers became deeply concerned by his actions, especially when he was out and about around town, near young women.
In the same way, staff were also very concerned about his attitude regarding his license conditions, post his release in September of this year.
The fact that he was secretly located in an area with so many schools and nurseries nearby had a lot of citizens concerned. And they made sure authorities kept their eyes on the convict.
At the moment, he is back in jail for officially breaching his license conditions. Despite returning back to custody, he could be re-released as a part of standard protocol. And that means entering public life after nearly 28 days again.
As it is, many victim families were beyond outraged to see him prowling the streets and this adds more fuel to their fire as it appears he’s up to no good again.
