Ab 17-year old girl Jaylenn Billups shot dead a Domino’s Pizza delivery guy after calling him at an empty house.
The girl alongside her boyfriend, 19-years old Alberto Vanmeter, had a botched robbery when they placed a fake order of pizza in an abandoned home.
The 37-years old Joshua Ungersma went there to deliver the order and that’s when the quarrel took place. It all started when both the girl and her boyfriend tried to rob the delivery guy and in his self-defense, he shot Vanmeter. After shooting Alberto, he went across the street and asked a resident of the area to call the police. When he returned, Billups shot him at point-blank with a 9mm handgun.
Who was Joshua Ungersma?
According to the court documents, Ungersma’s revolver, a.38 S&W, was registered and he carried it with him to protect himself. The poor guy was a new father to a little baby and a stepson as well. He left behind a grieving wife, an infant, and a baby son.
What did the police find at the location?
The cops reached at around 11.15 pm when they found Joshua’s dead body on North 16th street, on 31s August. Someone called and reported the police about ‘multiple gunshots’ in the area so the police rushed to the sight and declared Joshua as dead.
The cops also found Alberto Vanmeter’s body, the girl’s boyfriend, the delivery guy in his self-defense. There also was a pizza box alongside drinks and some cash on the ground.

The neighbor has a story to tell
Patrick Gibson, the neighbor in the area, says when he heard the gunshots, he went outside to have a look into the matter.
According to him, Mr.
Ungersma was not injured and he told him to call the police. He also told Patrick that Alberto tried to rob him. He then recalls how the girl Billups shoots Ungersma at point-blank which resulted in his immediate death.According to the police, the girl was standing on one of the victims and the police arrived. She had made the call to the cops herself from the same phone she called for the pizza order.
When the cops arrived, they asked Billups to show her hands in the air and she threw a 9mm handgun on the sidewalk. A bystander said that Billups made multiple shots at Ungersma and he died of whereas Ungersma shotted only once at Alberto which was in self-defense.
How is the law dealing with 17-year old Billups?
The court says Billups is the real culprit here and charged her with two murder counts. She is charged with murdering Ungersma and causing the death of Alberto as well. She is also charged with theft, conspiring to commit an armed robbery, carrying a gun without a license, and an armed robbery.
