Donald Trump has provided an explanation for the recent loss incurred by the US Women’s soccer team during an opening game at the Tokyo Olympics.
The former US President explained how woke politics was the real reason behind the team’s poor performance, which led to a major upset and shocking defeat.
“The current performance put up by the country’s women’s soccer team at the Tokyo games is a very good example of what is really going on,” he added. The announcement was made by Trump on Saturday in Arkansas where he reportedly conducted a campaign-themed rally, addressing a crowd.
“Woke politics manages to take out the life as well as the joy from everything. It makes you suffer loss, plays with your mind, ruins you as a person. Soon, you become warped too, and then dementia strikes,” he boldly stated.
“Earlier this past week, the US women’s soccer team suffered a defeat against Sweden, which was very unexpected. The score was three to zero. And it appeared that the Americans were very happy about that,” Trump told the live crowd who agreed with his stance and hence nodded to his thinking with loud cheers.
The former Commander in Chief of the USA also spoke about how the US women’s soccer team was highly favored to win gold medals as it currently stands at a number one position on the world ranking. But now it appears that it’s in the middle of an upsetting trip down a rocky road, right after that defeat, he claimed.
“This team is renowned for the protests being conducted by some of its famous members against the subject of racism. And this includes kneeling down when the national anthem gets played,” Trump began to explain. But that wasn’t the only thing on Trump’s mind.
He also doubled down when he began speaking against the much-hyped topic of Cleveland Indians, who recently opted to alter their name to Cleveland Guardians. “They have recently changed their historic name into something that is absolutely terrible,” the former President stated.
