A grieving daughter accidentally inhaled her late father’s remains during a “peaceful” sendoff gone wrong.
Sisters Tyla Halls, 22, and Belle Henry, 28, were left in shambles after the “peaceful” sendoff they had planned for their late dad, Mark, went terribly wrong.
According to the siblings, they planned on scattering their father’s ashes into the Bristol Channel in the UK. What they didn’t expect, however, was that a strong gush of wind would result in a grotesque incident.
In the clip they shared on social media, Tyla is seen emptying the remains from a jar only for the wind to send the ashes flying straight into her face and her open mouth.
“He went in my mouth!” the daughter exclaimed as she struggled to hold back laughter after the awkward mishap.
In the clip, which has since gone viral, Tyla can also be seen spluttering and coughing after being doused in a cloud of ashes.
“The video sums him up. He was brilliant, had a sense of humor, and he was so funny,” Belle said after the incident as she suggested her father would see the funny side of the incident.
“He was a proper daddy bear. It was an emotional day. When the accident with the ashes happened it helped lighten the mood and we both walked away laughing.
“My sister Tyla is worried someone’s going to see her as the girl that inhaled her dad. I think it’s pretty funny.”
