A new mother says she was horrified after finding out a creepy man was taking pictures of her while she was busy breastfeeding her baby.
Julia Cooper claims she saw the creepy individual take her pictures as she was feeding her 9-month-old baby and she also identified him doing the deed using a ‘zoom lens’ too. Moreover, the mother says that when she gathered the courage to confront him and ask him to delete the images, he blatantly refused to do so.
In addition, Julia says she even went to the police officers stationed nearby but to her absolute dismay, the officer refused to cooperate. Instead, they went on to explain how they could not do anything as it was all legal because she in public.
The mother says that the entire incident shocked her to the core because this was definitely something she was not expecting. “I was discreet while I breastfed my child,” she went on to explain as she sat over a bench.

And that’s when she noticed a creepy man staring at her the whole time.point 64 | “He was seated at a nearby picnic table with a giant zoom lens attached to his camera.point 140 | She tried to explain how he wanted to get a good close-up of what was going on.point 203 | 1
But the 32-year old says that she had enough of the drama and opted to confront the bizarre onlooker, once and for all. Shockingly, he admitted to taking her snaps but said he would not delete them. And that’s when she was sure that he snapped them for ‘sinister’ reasons.
“I was left feeling utterly uncomfortable after the ordeal.point 176 | I don’t know how I will be able to go back to breastfeeding in the public eye,” the mother said.point 265 |
For this reason, the mum says she’s launched a petition that has recently received more than 25,300 signatures, where she calls for a major change in the law, that would make acts like these illegal.point 171 | 1
