A mixed-race family is sharing their fury after they recently received a threatening letter from an anonymous neighbor.
Whether you like it or not, the world is definitely evolving as we speak. But at the same time, it’s sad to see that while many nations attempt to move forward in terms of revenue and sales, it’s their prejudice and racist behavior that continues to hold them back from true success.
This story about an inter-racial couple receiving threats has gone viral, explaining how the modern world continues to think in a backward direction.
A recent report by Fox 40 explained how a mixed family comprised of 7 family members soon became a prominent target in Vacaville. Yes, the Yu family has Chinese as well as Filipino and Mexican roots. And it’s their diversity that makes them stand out amongst a crowd of Americans.
The couple has 5 beautiful children. However, it didn’t take long for them to harness enemies in their neighborhood who couldn’t help but throw racist tantrums on the family’s existence in the neighborhood.
The head of the Yu family is Marc and he explained during an interview with the press how appalled he was at the sort of racist behavior shown towards him and his family. He even shed light on a letter that the family received in their mailbox. It read:
“We may sound a little harsh but your interracial family is definitely not welcome here,” the blunt and harrowing letter read.
In addition, Marc spoke about how the anonymous neighbor even gave the family a warning or threat, asking them to vacate their premises within 60 days. On that note, Marc knew that it was time to get the police involved because this was definitely something that his family did not deserve.
The couple says that they never imagined a racist attack of such a severe extent to envelop them. Not only were other members of the community shocked to hear the news, but the police were also appalled as to why anyone in their right mind would do something of such nature.
Marc says that he refuses to move due to someone’s racist beliefs. After all, it’s their problem that they can’t get over their toxic thinking. Do you agree?
