But now this poem has been modified, replacing the N-word by tiger just so people won’t be outraged. Remember, this only changed because people are rising for justice and can’t stand racism anymore. Otherwise, it’s just talk of this same century, only 40-60 years back when racism was common.

It is said about this poem that it was also called “Ten Little Niggers” which was adapted by Frank J. Green in 1869 or maybe Septimus Winner in 1868 adapted this poem replacing Indians with Injuns or Niggers. It goes both ways, we guess they both worked real hard on this poem.

  De lectric fluid magnified

 And killed five hundred n*gger’

OK! First of all, this was written for minstrel shows where a white man blackened his face and jumped in a silly manner around the stage portraying himself as black. They literally smeared black burnt cork, ashes on their face to rep the black people. Not just this but they danced around in a buffoons’ style which some African people still do, some of the tribes.

Secondly, this song is a parody of a black slave man!

Why are we agaist racist children rhymes?

Crazy to think there were, well, there still are some white racist people who just hate on another person based on their appearances and the color of their skin. You’d think racism is a story of the past but best believe it’s still ongoing.
