A 9-year-old schoolboy has tragically passed away after a giant American bulldog mauled him to death when his mother left him alone in the caravan.
Young Frankie MacRitchie who hails from Plymouth was mauled apart brutally by the bulldog as his mother enjoyed a drinking and cocaine binge with her friends, explained reports.
The giant 45kg dog had no control and continued to attack the poor boy till his last breath. With no one in sight for help, the boy suffered and cried without anyone finding out.
Surprisingly, his mother was out in another caravan nearby, enjoying bouts of both cocaine and alcohol with her best friends.
A new inquest into the case heard how the young child died due to severe blood loss that occurred as a result of several severely deep dog bites. Moreover, medical reports also spoke about how the child sustained more than 54 injuries to both his head as well as his neck.
The American bulldog whose name is Winston also has a track record of causing harm to previously children. But despite knowing all of this information, the mother still chose to leave the dog alone with her son, and instead, opted to binge upon her drugs and alcohol instead.
Frankie was reportedly staying with his mother in the caravan in Cornwall recently, alongside his mother’s friend who owned the dog. But both women were nowhere to be found during the harrowingly tragic accident.
More details into the investigation revealed the horror related to how the child was alone for nearly two and a half hours, which clearly meant that if the mother had arrived on time, he would have been saved. But instead, they only chose to return to a completely intoxicated state.
Another report revealed how one of the women heard a little scream and that alerted the mum who ran to see if everything was okay. But it was just too late as Frankie’s injuries were too critical to saving him from his tragic death.
