President Joe Biden was reportedly seen calling out a prominent journalist for asking a question regarding the vaccine mandate for veterans recently.
Moreover, it was shocking for plenty to observe Biden refer to the news reporter from NBC as a ‘pain in the neck,’ right after she began asking him a question relating to the government’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The scheduled event took place at the Oval Office with the prime minister from Iraq in attendance.
The reporter was identified as Kelly O’Donnell from NBC News who was startled at the way the president responded to her relevant question.
Kelly was seen making a loud attempt to shout out a question that was certainly on her mind as well as a few others. This was regarding the new vaccine rule, as some staffers from the White House made attempts to try and shuffle out the reporters from the room.
But instead of being upset at the President’s remarks, Kelly claims that she took his snappy attitude as a compliment and certainly did not mind.
Moreover, she even went about earning a chuckle from Biden himself, right before he made an attempt to confirm the VA mandate.
Currently, the new facts claim that around 115,000 staffers belonging to the frontline Veteran Affairs office would have about two months to get themselves vaccinated. In addition, Biden announced how all doctors would also need to be vaccinated with the shot.
This new set of announcements come just in time of the massive spike in COVID-19 Delta variant cases in the nation as well as around the globe. And for that reason, the Biden administration claims they are taking all the necessary precautions to help curb the spread.
Clearly, this short exchange of words between the president and the reporter wasn’t something of the usual. But it was nice to see how the President did actually answer her question, adding how he’s known the journalist for so long!
