Terrifyingly tragic reports have confirmed a brutal attack made against an innocent six-year-old girl who doctors say may never be able to smile again.
According to reports from local media outlets, the girl from Maine now needs more than 1000 stitches to patch up her face after being horrifically mauled by a pack of pit bulls.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to detail more on the incident including how the child had been bitten by the dogs located at her friend’s home.
The injuries have been described as the most devasting and critical ones that doctors have seen on a young child in a long time. Therefore, they claim to have taken on the take of adding 1000 stitches to help her feel better.
The wounds were found below her eyes and all the way down to her throat. And doctors had to perform intensive surgery and work fast to prevent her condition from deteriorating as that’s how bad how injuries were described to be.
She was also reported flown toward Boston as confirmed by local media outlets at a special children’s hospital to ensure the right specialists were carrying out her treatment.
Doctors reportedly spent 11 hours and placed her under general anesthesia in what is being described as a labor-intensive procedure. The parents explained their heartbreak after seeing their daughter in this terrifying state.
