Tragic reports have gone on to speak about a horrifying incident that left one young abuse survivor dead.
The victim was one that tried to remain strong and courageous throughout her lifetime but in the end, the battle she was fighting was just too much for her to bear and she died in the end.
The survivor of this horrifying r*pe was the inspiration behind a viral documentary that was aired through the likes of BBC. She wanted the world to know that it was high time people stopped hiding and called out the perpetrators who were out to ruin the lives of young individuals.
And in this case, it happened to be her own running coach.
But despite putting up such a strong face for so many years, she just couldn’t overcome her inner demons. She died after taking her own life.
The sad and shocking news of her death was announced by the host of Sky Sports Charlie Webster. She even paid tribute to her beautiful friend and applauded all of her efforts to help raise awareness on the matter and make way for others to come forward and fight against such criminals.
Katie was reportedly found dead at her own residence in Australia on Sunday. Charlie released a public post that had her fans and followers in tears.
It stated: “I am so sad, hurt, and pained to mention this news. But my dear Katie has passed away. She is my friend and was a part of the running group on that I made my documentary. She has taken her own life”- the post concluded.
Katie was hailed for testifying against her own coach and saving so many young children by doing so. Her friend Charlie says that there were many young girls abused before her but she made it a point that after sharing her story, there would be none after her.
