Missing Tennessee woman Jasmine Pace has reportedly been found dead by the police.
The harrowing news comes as an urgent search was taking place to recover her but it has now ended in tragedy. The news arose just a day after her boyfriend was taken to police custody after bloody evidence was recovered from inside his home.
The suspect was her boyfriend from college and he was charged with murder when the young woman’s body was found alongside the Suck Creek Road in Chattanooga after she was last seen on surveillance video leaving her mom’s home on November 22. This was reported by Local 3 News.
The cops were able to retrieve her dead body just one day after her lover from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga received his charges and hence was detained by the authorities. He was identified as Jason Chen.
When the cops arrived at his apartment, they found so many blood stains in the living room, the bathroom, and even the bedroom.
There were also some shards of broken glass and plenty of other types of evidence that pointed direct fingers that a violent altercation had broken out.
More suspicion grew as there were plenty of cleaning supplies that were used to scrub the floors and more evidence. And that is what led the cops to determine that something didn’t quite fit into the story that was being presented and what had taken place.
In the past, Pace’s mom named Catrina Pace had spoken to cops about how she managed to track her daughter’s vehicle by making use of an online app. And that’s how they stumbled upon the horrifying findings related to her location, after going missing.
