The youngest victim of the fatal explosion that took place at a petrol station in Ireland has been named.
Sources from local media outlets revealed how the 5-year-old happened to be on a hunt for a birthday cake with her father by her side. But little did they know that they would never return.
Most headlines for today’s news reports were seen speaking about all ten victims from the horrifying explosion being identified. And it’s being called one of the saddest moments in Ireland’s history.
“Knowing that the youngest victim was just 5 years old and her daddy was by her side, searching for a cake is just too painful to even imagine. They never knew that death was in their footsteps!”- cried one witness who says she can’t sleep at night because thinking of the victims is just too painful.
A mother and her son were also a part of the victims who died in the heartbreaking tragedy but that’s not all. A young 20-year-old man is also currently fighting for his life as well, sources revealed.
The horrifying gas explosion took place during the afternoon hours of Friday, taking so many people located at the popular pumping station into its horrifying shade.
What’s even more heartbreaking is how so many of the deceased body parts are yet to be identified in the morgue by forensic experts.
Moreover, it’s like one of the most devastating things to know that your loved ones can’t even be buried as one because that’s how devastating the aftereffects of the mighty explosion were.
Today, the Irish Premier was seen making his way toward the hospital to meet all of those that were critically injured in the blast but are now considered to be out of danger.
