The most tattooed man in the United Kingdom is breaking his silence for the first time and that includes the discrimination he’s felt thanks to his workplace.
With 90% of his body surface filled with inkings, this man says earning money had become a nightmare for him. And that’s because managers were forced to hide him in the back of the store so people wouldn’t be afraid of him.
The man who has been outlined as being the King of Body Art says his extensive ink can be viewed as alarming to so many people.
Moreover, he even went on to mention that as a 42-year-old who adores art to the greatest degree, this sort of criticism shouldn’t be accepted by members of the general public.
“I’ve got every right to live my life the way I wish to”- he explained. And this is not something that should make people give him any unfair treatment, he adds.
When people used to visit his workspace, they would be shocked to learn that he’s disguised as someone else or forced to enter into the hiding area.
In one job, he was shoved around like a dirtbag and for him, that was beyond painful.
Matthew Whelan says body art is something he adores and couldn’t even begin to imagine what life would be without his modifications.
It’s beyond a hobby for him, more like a way of life. And for that, he wouldn’t wish to let go of his passion for the world.
Today, this young man is still struggling to prove his identity because other people’s harsh judgments do tend to get to him.
