A heartbreaking video shows an elderly woman being attacked by a group of teenagers in broad daylight after she refused to give her phone.
Speaking to ABC 7, Mrs. Ren said that she was in so much pain after the attack.
“Yesterday one of the first days for a long time (I) went out,” she said. “And this is what happened.”
A surveillance camera from the apartment complex at the 100 block of San Francisco Street shows a group of teenagers approaching Mrs. Ren before dragging her to the floor.
One teen who was wearing a black and yellow baseball cap then stomped in the elderly woman’s face.
She said that the thugs first approached her outside the building to ask for the time. But after answering them, they “searched my body, and I quickly realize they’re up to no good.”
She then tried to get into the elevator but the attackers followed her, pushing her down and punching her in the head.
The suspects then dragged Mrs. Ren onto the floor and kicked her multiple times.
Video shows the elderly woman running to a hallway and struggling to close the door. One teen who was wearing a gray camouflage hoodie was seen hitting her on the head while the other attacker in a black hoodie pulled her by the arm as she fell on the floor.
The teens reportedly grabbed her keys before running away.
Mrs. Ren was treated for injuries sustained from the attack. Her daughter said that she “never expected this to happen.”
San Francisco Police Department told Daily Mail that no arrests have been made.
