A loving marine biology student is believed to have passed away after being attacked by a trio of psychotic killer whales.
According to local media outlets, the victim was last heard screaming and crying for help when she slipped and fell into a pool that contained three killer whales. But little did she know that they were out to get her.
It is believed that despite the trainers’ efforts to free the 20 year old from the pool, the killer whales continued to tightly grasp her and just wouldn’t let go. And in the end, they drowned her, killing her instantly.
The victim was identified as Keltie Byrne who hailed from the University of Victoria. Her love for animals was so profound but no one knew that in the end, they would be the ones killing her.
According to witnesses who happened to be present at the horrifying scene of the tragedy, one of the killer whales named Tilikum grabbed the student in his mouth, moments after she fell inside after a show had been completed.
He then began to drag her around underwater while the other two killer whales in the same pool made sure that no one interfered and hence started to attack anyone that came close to entering the pool or their territory.
Meanwhile, loud screams and shouts could be heard and the most horrifying of them all included the student yelling and helplessly crying: “I don’t want to die!”
She fought hard to escape and despite her mighty swimming skills, she just couldn’t make it out alive. There were times that she was close to the edge but even then, the killer whales made sure to drag her back inside the pool.
“She tried so hard to break free from their strong grip. But each time that happened, the orcas would unite and pull her back!”- another witness confirmed.
