A ten-week-old child was reportedly murdered by her own parents, just a few hours after social workers paid a visit to her home.

According to reports from local media outlets, the victim was only ten weeks old but that didn’t stop her evil parents from devising a master plan that would involve her murder, as revealed in the court recently.

Little Lilly-Mai Hurrell is believed to have suffered from the most heartbreakingly tragic injuries that included 18 rib fractures, fatal injuries to her head, and a leg fracture too. These were all stated to be caused by forceful shaking through the hands of Lauren Saint George and Darren Hurrell, who were the parents of this little girl.

More investigations into the daunting case revealed how the young child had been killed by her own parents, less than seven days after she had been discharged into their care. And that was all despite the fact that the hospital staff was showing concerns about the child.

After her life-threatening injuries, she was immediately shifted to a local hospital in North Middlesex and that’s when the staff realized that they showed distinct patterns of child abuse and neglect.

But despite the efforts of medical experts intervening, she passed away, just two days later.

Now, her parents are on a trial at the Wood Green Crown Court. They are denying any of the murder charges and have also refused to claim any responsibility for conducting manslaughter or allowing the death of their child.

Meanwhile, one prosecutor of the case revealed to the jury on Tuesday how there was plenty of evidence to confirm the parents’ wrongdoing in this regard. They said that the young child suffered extreme abuse at the hands of her parents and hence they would now seek punishment for their wrong actions.
